Compassionate, person-centred counselling tailored to your individual needs, relationships and life circumstances. Support is available for individuals, couples and families, with both in-person and online appointments available. No GP referral is required.

Individual Counselling
Personalised support for emotional wellbeing, life changes, anxiety, stress and other challenges. Sessions are tailored to your needs, strengths and goals.
Couples & Relationship Counselling
Support for couples wanting to strengthen communication, navigate conflict, rebuild connection or work through relationship changes in a respectful space
Family Counselling
Collaborative support for families experiencing communication difficulties, changing roles, parenting challenges or other pressures affecting family relationships
FIFO & Mining-Related Support
Support informed by an understanding of FIFO and mining life, including workplace stress, separation from family, relationship strain and the impact of demanding rosters.
Neurodivergent Support
Person-centred support for neurodivergent clients and families, with a focus on understanding individual needs, emotional regulation, communication and everyday wellbeing.
Online / Telehealth Counselling
Flexible counselling by secure video or telephone for clients who prefer remote support or find attending in person difficult. Telehealth offers the same collaborative, person-centred approach as face-to-face sessions
Group Therapy
Structured group programs offer a supportive space to build practical skills, strengthen emotional wellbeing and connect with others through shared learning and guided therapeutic activities. CMD Counselling Services offers a range of group programs, including DBT, mindfulness and creative therapeutic groups.

Initial 90-Minute Consultation

Standard Individual Session

Couples Counselling
$250 per hour
Family Counselling
$315 per session
Includes up to 3 familiar members. Additional family members: $85 per person
Funding & Rebates
Medicare
​
​Medicare rebates are not currently available for CMD individual or group counselling sessions.
Private Health Insurance
​
​CMD Counselling Services is registered with the Australian Regional Health Group (ARHG). Rebates may be available where your policy includes mental health extras.
NDIS
​
​CMD Counselling Services is a registered NDIS provider and can support eligible participants depending on plan management and available funding.
EAP
​
​Counselling may also be available through participating Employee Assistance Program providers and referral partners.
Participating health funds include: Police Health Fund, Emergency Services Health, Teachers Union Health, Pheonix Health, St Lukes health, GMHBA, CUA Health (telehealth only) and Westfund
